Dulce Pontes is one of the leading European solo singers on the rise! Dulce draws her energy from the roots of Portuguese folk music and Fado. Her big break came when she was picked to represent Portugal in the 1991 Eurovision Song Contest in Rome – she came eight out of 22 contestants. More importantly she gained national recognition for her extraordinary voice. Over the course of her career Dulce has performed with Andrea Bocelli, Jose Carreras, Cesaria Evora and with the great Maestro Enio Morricone. |
