Μία μοναδική ορχήστρα στο είδος της, μια καθαρά γυναικεία υπόθεση, 20 εκπληκτικές καλλιτέχνιδες με κορυφαία την Svetlana Bezrodnaya θα έχουμε την ευκαιρία να παρακολουθήσουμε στη Κύπρο τον ερχόμενο χειμώνα. Η διάσημη ορχήστρα “ Vivaldi ” θα παρουσιάσει ένα αφιέρωμα στο μεγάλο Άγγλο κωμικό Charlie Chaplin . Βασισμένο σε 6 από τα μεγάλα έργα του που άφησαν το στίγμα τους στο βωβό κινηματογράφο “ Golden Rush ” (1925), “ The Circus ” (1929), “ City Lights ” (1931), “ Modern Times ” (1936), και “ The Great Dictator ” (1940) και “ Limelight ”(1952). H όλη παραγωγή εμπλουτίζεται με προβολές και χαρακτηριστικά χορευτικά αποσπάσματα. Η παράσταση αυτή έκανε πρεμιέρα το χειμώνα που μας πέρασε στη Μόσχα και θα περιοδεύσει τη χρονιά αυτή σε θέατρα της Ευρώπης.

A TRIBUTE TO THE MUSIC OF ‘CHARLIE CHAPLIN'

A unique orchestra of its kind, a strictly talented female orchestra, 20 marvellous artists under the direction and musical leadership of Svetlana Bezrodnaya, we will have the opportunity to witness performing in January 2008 in Limassol. The world famous orchestra “Vivaldi” will perform an “avant garde” musical tribute to the soundtrack music of the films of the English comedian Charlie Chaplin. The performance is a journey through six major films that have left their mark in the era of silent movies. “Golden Rush” (1925), “The Circus” (1929), “City Lights” (1931), “Modern Times” (1936), “The Great Dictator” (1940) and “Limelight”(1952). The musical performance will be accompanied by dance numbers and projections. The tribute was first performed in winter 2007 in Moscow and is off to a world wide tour in major theatres of Europe .
